Warner Robins – Rigby’s Entertainment Complex in Warner Robins has some changes in store for anyone seeking to “get some fun.” Rigby’s currently offers bowling, mini golf, arcade games, roller skating and an on-site dining facility. They are expanding their operations to include a themed water park, two hotels, and an amphitheater. With all the extra amusements and on-site hotels, the vision for Rigby’s is boundless in their pursuit of a distinctive entertainment complex. Keith Daniels, the Chief Operating Officer for Rigby’s, said “the first phase of Rigby’s Water World is expected to open around mid to late August 2017. “We would like to get it open for a couple of weeks, like a soft start this summer, and really blow it put of the water next summer.” Daniels also stated that the idea for the water attraction was a part of Steve Rigby’s original plan for the complex.

With summer already in the air and temperatures steadily soaring, Middle Georgians sure could benefit from the services that Rigby’s Water World is going to offer. Compared to the Sandy Beach Water Park, Rigby’s will be twice as large and will charge almost twice as much for admission. This will give Middle Georgians options about where to spend their summer fun budget. The best part is it eliminates the need to drive too far to cool down during our sweltering summers.

Considering that Valdosta’s Wild Adventures is nearly three hours away, and Atlanta’s White Water is almost two hours away, Middle Georgians will save time and money by attending local theme parks.

Rigby’s additional 30,000 square feet expansion will not only make room for more attractions, but also it will also bring more jobs to the Middle Georgia area. The addition of the two on-site hotels, one of which will be a Best Western Plus, will create 780 plus rooms, all of which will be suites, and include a rooftop lounge. Also included is an amphitheater which will host outdoor concerts and a 250-seat restaurant to top off the newly renovated entertainment complex.

The innovative vision of Steve Rigby as realized in the expansion of his eponymous entertainment complex will vastly improve recreational life in the area.

Don Harper's passion for writing came at an early age. As a second grader, he wrote his first short story, one about his father, a fireman. His teacher typed and edited it, and made the story into a hardbound book. This cherished memory inspired this now 35 year from Milledgeville to create. He is also fascinated by the culture of hip-hop. He began to write poetry and lyrics, and by the time I was in high school had joined a music group who performed live shows and even opened up for some major artists. His current endeavors include working on a trilogy of short stories and finishing his studies at Middle Georgia State University. He is completing his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in New Media and Communication. He hopes to one day acquire a position as a writer for a major network and to also have penned a best-selling novel.
